Ahsum Acres offers the following boarding services:
- Inside boarding for $15 a day for a single horse; $18 for a mare with foal.
- Outside boarding for $10 a day.
- Layups for $15 a day.
The following table provides details about our boarding.

| Stalls |
Minumum of 144 square feet with a lime floor over substantial rock base for drainage.
All stalls refreshed or fully bedded daily. Foaling stalls bedded with straw, and all others bedded
with shavings. |

| Grain |
Mares and mares with foals, 13% protein; all others, 10% protein. |
|
| Supplements |
Free range salt, premiere 12 x 12 minerals, and biotin. |
|
| Forage |
Inside board includes small bales; feed by flake requirement. Outside board during winter
includes round and square bales. Horses are grazed during the rest of the year supplemented where needed
with square bales. |
|
| Farrier |
Scheduled by farm unless farrier arranged by boarder. Farrier required at least
every six weeks regardless of arrangement. |
|
| Health |
Minimum shot schedule by farm includes 4-way rabies, strangles, west nile, and worming.
All inoculations and worming required and must be performed to farm schedule. Several veterinarians are
available for on-call duty based upon the condition of your horse. Serious conditions subject to transport to
University of Wisconsin-Madison for treatment. |

Secured heated tack room with refrigerator and tack storage available. |

Full bathroom. |
